“Pipat” energizes “Labor Graduates” as important cogs to help Thai workers move forward to fill every district in Thailand in 2026, helping the unemployed and the elderly work from home in the area.




On August 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar and provided policies to participants of the workshop “Development of the Potential of Labor Services in the Area by Labor Graduates” for the fiscal year 2024, with Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathian, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, reporting on the objectives of the event, along with senior executives of the Ministry of Labor, attending the event at the Prince Grand Ballroom, Prince Palace Hotel, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok.

Mr. Pipat said that the Ministry of Labor emphasizes the mission drive, aiming for tangible results for the people in the area, which is proactively carried out in the area through the regional offices, with southern border labor graduates as an important mechanism to drive the mission of the Ministry of Labor, helping with the mission at the local, district, sub-district, and village levels, and performing the duties of labor graduates so that all laborers have a better quality of life by providing labor services, cooperating, and managing duties strongly, and being a support for the people and those involved. The workshop “Developing the Potential of Labor Services in the Area by Labor Graduates” will collect the numbers of unemployed people in the area, the elderly who want to work from home, and independent workers to increase household income, along with social security. In the fiscal year 2026, the Ministry of Labor has set a goal to have labor graduates in every district, 878, throughout Thailand.







Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathian, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, added that the Ministry of Labor has implemented a pilot project in the southern border provinces, namely Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and 4 districts of Songkhla Province through Southern Border Labor Graduates. The seminar was attended by 380 Southern Border Labor Graduates and 113 District Labor Graduates and Provincial Labor Graduates, totaling 493 people.
